How to Setup an eBay Affiliate Website & Make Money Online!

[ad_1]

You can become an affiliate of eBay with just a few clicks of the mouse. Simply scroll down to the bottom of the eBay home page and you’ll find a link that says “affiliates”. Click on that link and follow the instructions.

Some people may not know what an affiliate is. That’s fine. Becoming an affiliate allows you to promote any eBay item or auction and get paid a commission in the process. Granted, the commission can sometime be small, but if promoted in the right way those small commissions add up.

1. As I mentioned in the opening paragraph. Become an eBay affiliate.

2. Do some market research to find out what hot and what’s actually selling in the market place. No need to reinvent the wheel here, just sell what’s already selling very well.

3. Sign up for a free website or blog by typing into your search engine ” free website or free blog”

4. Find one of these websites that fits your needs and follow the sign up process.

5. You’re virtually 75% of the way there. You now just need some products to promote.

6.Log into the affiliate area of your eBay. You have a few options to choose from.

You can either:

a) Choose the creatives tab. This has a variety of colorful graphic and interactive ads to place onto your new website and attract visitors to eBay pages from your website.

b) Use their  link generator. This will allow you to create a trackable link to any of eBay Partner Network’s program pages. I think the best feature of all is the ability to direct visitors to relevant pages of your choosing. This will allow you to offer a specific product to a specific audience.

c) Use their custom banners. This in effect is a  customizable flash banner. It has real-time eBay listings that will be displayed on your new website. You have a choice of different templates or you can even design your own.

d)Use the eBay product feed. This allows you to download a large amount of eBay listing data and cache it in your own system. If you’re thinking of a running a shopping comparison site, then this is perfect.

e) Use the eBay editor kit. Again you can display real-time eBay listings to your website or blog and actually filter your results by category, keywords, or other eBay search criteria. Once you’ve finished, you can customize this to fit the feel and style of your website.

f) eBay To Go. Present and show off your favorite eBay items directly on your website. Use any of the widgets to display relevant eBay listings, search results, or store items across the web.

g) eBay RSS feeds. Generate your very own trackable RSS feed displaying eBay content which updates when anything on eBay is updated. This is great for blogs and is advised to slot it in on the right hand panel of your blog.

Now, having a website with eBay products on there is one thing. Your next step is to promote it and actually start making some real money.
